I’m currently a reporter, producer and newscaster at KERA, the NPR member station in Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington. Since 2017, I’ve been covering emerging cultural trends, community issues, and the local art scene in the fourth largest metro area in the U.S.
I was part of the 2020 AIR New Voices cohort, and I’ve also completed internships with NPR’s All Things Considered and The Dallas Morning News.
Before I jumped into journalism, I was writing about the academic work coming out of The University of Texas at Dallas as part of their media relations team.
I got my degree in economics at UT Dallas, and while I’m far from the world of the Fed, that thinking still underpins my approach to journalism.
Most importantly, I’m concerned with ensuring people are heard and understood.
